Internal Auditor (10 Openings) at Sundry Markets Limited – Multiple Locations

Sundry Markets Limited is hiring ten Internal Auditors for Marketsquare operations across Abuja; Lagos; Owerri; Benin City; Onitsha and Awka; Asaba and Warri; Akure; and Mowe. The roles assess control effectiveness, risks and policy compliance in retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and prepare practical audit work plans.
• Review internal controls, business policies and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor inventory movement, participate in stock counts and verify inventory valuation.
• Develop loss-prevention recommendations to reduce shrinkage and other risks.
• Investigate high-risk goods movements and recommend corrective measures.
• Prepare audit findings and reports and work with colleagues to implement improvements.
• Support external audit preparation, including examination of vendor invoices.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accountancy or a related discipline.
• At least four years’ internal audit or related experience.
• NYSC discharge, exemption or exclusion documentation.
• Knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, stock reviews and regulatory compliance.
• Strong numerical, analytical, communication, report writing and interpersonal skills.
• ICAN certification is an advantage.
