Position Title: Internal Audit Officer.
Job Station: Lagos State.
INTRODUCTION:-
Internal Audit Officer job opportunity is available at Cash Link Leasing Plc for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- Plan financial audits by understanding organizational objectives, structure, policies, processes, internal controls, and external regulations.
- Identify risk areas, prepare audit scope and objectives and prepare audit programs.
- Assess compliance with financial regulations and controls by executing audit program steps, testing general ledger, account balances, balance sheets, income statements and related financial statements, examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
- Assess risks and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance, evaluating manual and automated financial processes, identifying process weaknesses, inefficiencies and operational issues.
- Verify assets and liabilities by comparing and analyzing items and collateral to documentation.
- Communicate audit progress and findings by providing information in status meetings, highlighting unresolved issues, reviewing working papers and preparing final audit reports.
- Improve protection by recommending changes in management monitoring, assessment and motivational practices in the internal control structure, in operating processes and identifying root causes.
- Protect organization’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-
- A University Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 3 years proven work experience as an Internal Auditor.
- Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
- Brilliant accounting and analytical skills.
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
- High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
- Sound independent judgement.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
REMUNERATION:-
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly.
