Inventory Support Officer – Spare Parts at Moniepoint Incorporated – Rivers

Moniepoint Incorporated is recruiting an Inventory Support Officer – Spare Parts in Rivers State. The officer will manage repair consumables throughout their lifecycle, making sure technicians have the required parts while all movements remain accurate, controlled and traceable.

Responsibilities

• Receive spare-parts consignments and verify delivery notes at batch and serial-number level before recording them in the inventory management system (IMS).
• Organise batteries, screens, cables and accessories in labelled, model-compatible storage locations; protect electronic components from moisture, dust and extreme temperatures.
• Release parts only against approved technician job cards validated by the Repair Centre Manager and record every issue immediately in IMS.
• Manage unused or incorrectly issued parts returned by technicians and reconcile stock physically against IMS every week.
• Identify obsolete, expired or slow-moving items and raise replenishment requests at established reorder thresholds.
• Produce weekly consumption and stock reports, maintain part-to-job-card traceability and track component failures for procurement and OEM feedback.
• Maintain clean, zoned storage, segregation of duties and readiness for scheduled or spot inventory counts.

Requirements

• OND in a relevant discipline.
• At least two years’ experience in inventory operations, including handling high volumes of stock.
• Good computer skills and working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with inventory-management systems and workflow applications.
• Strong attention to detail, records management, organisation, communication and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to work with limited supervision, multitask and meet deadlines.
