Junior Piping Stress Support Engineer job opportunity is available at Phillips Outsourcing Services Nigeria Limited for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, schedules, conduct and co-ordinate all works related to piping stress and support.
• Skilled in the usage of relevant Engineering software, i.e., Caesar II etc.
• Prepares and review of critical line list, stress sketches, stress reports, pipe support standard index.
• Knowledgeable in job note and procedures preparation and, application of Engineering instruction on projects,
• Reviews and checks work of subordinate Engineers.
• Carry out any other duties as directed by Deputy Manager (piping stress & support)
• Review and checking third part/internal Stress calculations.
• Coordination with other disciplines, civil, mechanical, and piping design.
• Design and selection of pipe supports, and springs Supports.
• PSUP assignation for each support, to provide information to mechanical and civil Groups.
• Nozzle Qualifications of drums, vessels, and rotating equipment.
• Relief Valves Calculation & Slug flow analysis.
• Flange leakage Analysis as per equivalent pressure method.

Experience and qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Eng.) in mechanical Engineering member, Nigerian society of Enigeers, COREN
• At least 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in both onshore and/or offshore facilities and Power Generation sector
• At least 1 years of experience in offshore oil/gas field development projects.
• Experience with Auto Pipe and Caesar II software
• Experience with detailed design project (EPC) execution.
