Position Title: Lead ICT Specialist.
Job Station: Nigeria.
INTRODUCTION :-
Lead ICT Specialist job opportunity is available at a Multilateral Institution Funded Project for individuals who possess Graduate (Master’s) degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-
The successful Consultant will be required to:
- Lead in the design, development, deployment and operations of all ICT systems of the Independent National Facilitation Unit (INFU) and delivery institution in each of the geo-political zones in the country;
- Provide strategic and thorough technical guidance to all automation and digital transformation activities and products.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :-
The short-listing criteria are:
- Graduate (Master’s) degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering;
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, coaching /mentoring, and computer skills;
- Excellent understanding of the ICT market in Nigeria (infrastructure, connectivity, hardware, software, security, etc.) including products, systems, bandwidths, pricing, etc.;
- Excellent understanding of the latest coding technologies and languages, web application frameworks and scripting languages
- Excellent knowledge and experience in databases, data management and data collection;
- At least 15 years of general professional experience;
- At least 10 years of specific experience in managing ICT operations and teams, preferably in academic, research, or training set-ups;
- At least 2 years of experience in digital transformation projects or programmes in the public sector or academia;
- Previous experience in SIS and/or Learning Management Systems is an advantage.
