Media & Communications Manager at Kiajer Youth Empowerment Initiative – Abuja
Kiajer Youth Empowerment Initiative seeks a full-time Media & Communications Manager in Abuja to lead communications, digital engagement and storytelling around its programmes.
Responsibilities
- Develop communications plans supporting the organisation’s programmes and advocacy work.
- Manage social media platforms, schedule posts and develop promotional materials.
- Cover programmes and events through photography, video and written reports.
- Analyse content performance and audience engagement, maintain media files and consistent branding.
Requirements
- An HND or bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Media, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
- At least two years’ experience in communications, media, marketing or social media.
- Strong writing, storytelling, design, photography and basic video-editing skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, creativity, organisation and ability to meet deadlines.
- NGO or development-sector experience, or a relevant portfolio, is advantageous.
