Production Pharmacist at Vixa Pharmaceutical Company Limited – Lagos

Vixa Pharmaceutical Company Limited is hiring a full-time Production Pharmacist in Lagos to coordinate compliant and cost-effective pharmaceutical and cosmetics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily and weekly production activities in line with approved schedules.
• Supervise dispensing, manufacture, filling and packaging while making efficient use of people, materials and equipment.
• Ensure Batch Manufacturing and Packaging Records are accurate, complete and reviewed.
• Maintain cGMP standards, sanitation and gowning procedures, and work with QA/QC on line clearance and in-process testing.
• Investigate deviations, manage corrective and preventive actions and maintain readiness for regulatory inspections.
• Review production documents and report yields, efficiency, wastage and operational variances.
• Guide production personnel, promote safe working practices and assess team performance.
• Reduce avoidable downtime, overtime and material losses through continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• B.Pharm or M.Pharm with a current Pharmacists Council of Nigeria practising licence.
• At least two years’ experience in pharmaceutical production.
• Working knowledge of cGMP, BMR/BPR documentation and NAFDAC requirements.
• Experience in a multi-product factory is beneficial.
• Competence in Microsoft Excel or ERP systems, team leadership, decision-making and problem-solving.
• Ability to work in factory conditions, including prolonged standing and shift duties where applicable.
