Mayonnaise Production Officer at an Undisclosed Food Manufacturer via Fadac Resources – Lagos
A food-manufacturing business is recruiting a Mayonnaise Production Officer for its Haano Industry plant in Lagos through Fadac Resources and Services.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise mayonnaise batching, emulsification, mixing, filling, coding, labelling and packing under approved recipes and procedures.
- Monitor recipe quantities, process temperature, viscosity, fill weight, output, waste and line efficiency.
- Apply GMP, HACCP, allergen controls, sanitation and product-traceability standards; coordinate checks with Quality Assurance.
- Supervise line workers, organise shifts and handovers, and train staff in hygiene and safe equipment use.
- Coordinate maintenance, record production and consumption figures, investigate losses and support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- BSc or HND in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Microbiology or a related field.
- Two to four years’ production experience in a food or FMCG plant; sauces, emulsions or edible oils experience is an advantage.
- Practical knowledge of GMP, HACCP and NAFDAC requirements, plus production-line supervision.
- Competence with Excel and Word, process records, problem-solving and shift work.
