Risk & Loss Prevention Engineer Specialist II at Nautilus Nigeria – Lagos
Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited is recruiting a Risk and Loss Prevention Engineer Specialist II in Lagos to review engineering work and support project design safety and loss-prevention standards.
Engineering and loss prevention
- Review internal and contractor engineering work against project specifications, design standards and legal requirements.
- Coordinate discipline design and engineering routines in line with project objectives.
- Communicate engineering progress, technical risks and concerns across project teams.
- Participate in or lead technical safety and risk studies.
- Conduct consequence analysis, including toxic-gas dispersion modelling where applicable.
- Develop and update safety instructions, discipline standards, codes and documented practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in environmental, health and safety and loss-prevention engineering.
- Strong knowledge of engineering codes, discipline design requirements and safety criteria.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical/business English.
- Ability to manage changing priorities, deadlines and demanding workloads.
