Position Title: Sales and Event Executive.

Job Station: Lagos State.

INTRODUCTION:-

Sales and Event Executive job opportunity is available at a Caribbean Restaurant for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.

Aims

  • To promote the restaurant by demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the brand. This includes the pricing structure for individual spaces.
  • To create awareness of the restaurant brand through social media, blogs, print media online entities.
  • To sell the restaurant brand it’s the specific target group (Residents of Ikoyi, VI Lekki, GRA Ikeja, Expatriates, Caribbean embassies, International Airlines and all Local businesses.
  • Effectively promote the restaurant across Lagos, Nigeria and the World in order to generate sales and meet sales targets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-

  • Assist the marketing manager with general duties
  • Source new customers through social media, blogs, print media and online entities
  • Create a database of all potential target customers using Microsoft Excel
  • Create and implement a monthly sales plan
  • Promote and sell spaces within the venue these includes the restaurant, bar, VIP room, cinema and outdoor
  • Record all bookings in the staff calendar and inform the manager
  • Promote and sell our outdoor catering services to specific target groups
  • Liaise with clients from beginning to end of an event as well as co-ordinate and attend events to ensure the event is successful
  • Ensure restaurant is present in all major premium online food and beverage sites and apps
  • Be aware and attend relevant food and beverage trade fairs, events and pop-ups shops across Lagos
  • Build relationships with top companies in Lagos to ensure the restaurant is on their list of preferred restaurants for staff, business meetings, meal plans or cater for their outdoor events
  • Attend in house weekly sales and marketing meetings
  • Attend weekly outdoor meetings to further build relationships
  • Meet monthly financial targets set by the manager
  • Carry out monthly restaurant and venue competitor analysis and report results and staff meetings

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-

  • Must have a 2.1 or above University Degree or Master’s Level.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, especially the word, outlook and excel
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be well-spoken
  • Experience in hosting and putting together small to medium-sized events
  • Proficiency in social networking sites (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc.)
  • Proficiency with numbers and accounting
  • A highly creative and self-motivated individual
  • Must be able to write strong proposals to target groups.

REMUNERATION:-

  • N40,000 – N100,000 monthly.
