Sales Representative at a Fashion House – Akute, Ogun

A fashion house in Akute, Ogun State, is recruiting a full-time Sales Representative through JV Management Consulting. The role combines customer service, sales, stock support and visual merchandising in a fashion retail setting.

Retail sales and customer service

• Welcome shoppers and help them select clothing, footwear, bags, accessories and other fashion items.
• Work towards individual and store sales targets while offering useful product and styling advice.
• Respond professionally to customer enquiries, complaints and returns.
• Process payments accurately through the point-of-sale system and maintain proper cash-handling records.
• Explain new arrivals, discounts and promotional offers and build relationships that encourage repeat purchases.

Store presentation and inventory

• Keep the showroom tidy, well arranged and visually attractive.
• Arrange displays and replenish merchandise on shelves and racks.
• Monitor inventory and report low, damaged or missing stock to the supervisor.
• Assist with stock receiving, labelling, pricing and inventory counts.
• Follow the store’s policies, procedures, attendance requirements and customer-service standards.

Qualifications and requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC; an OND or higher qualification is an advantage.
• One to two years of sales experience, preferably in a fashion store or boutique.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, selling and customer-service skills.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and handling sales transactions.
• Ability to work in a busy retail environment, remain well presented and assist customers professionally.
• Availability for weekend and public-holiday duties when required.

Remuneration

• Monthly salary of ₦50,000.
