Secretary at New Ideal Model School – Jalingo

New Ideal Model School is recruiting a full-time Secretary in Jalingo, Taraba State, to coordinate communications, office records and administrative activities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls, emails and incoming correspondence; welcome visitors and direct enquiries appropriately.
• Maintain calendars, arrange appointments and meetings and assist with travel coordination.
• Prepare official letters, reports, memos, presentations and meeting agendas.
• Take accurate minutes, follow up action points and organise meeting materials.
• Keep electronic and physical records, databases and office expenditure information up to date.
• Monitor office supplies and coordinate with external service providers.

Requirements

• High school diploma, OND, HND or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace and standard office equipment.
• Strong written and spoken communication, time management, accuracy, discretion and ability to handle competing tasks.
