An undisclosed banking-sector employer is recruiting Graduate Trainee Field Officers through Careers Verified across Abuja and multiple Nigerian states. Successful candidates will receive practical training while supporting banking-product promotion, field marketing, customer acquisition and relationship management.

Abuja (FCT), Abia, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Benue, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Imo, Kaduna, Kano, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto and Taraba. Applicants must be willing to work at any assigned location nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective banking customers and introduce relevant products and services.
• Promote savings and current accounts, loans, payment solutions and other financial products.
• Carry out field marketing, customer visits and promotional activities to generate leads.
• Help customers with account opening, documentation and onboarding procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Work towards assigned sales targets, deposit mobilisation and business-growth objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities in assigned territories.
• Provide customers with accurate information about banking products, services and procedures.
• Prepare daily field-activity reports, sales updates and customer-acquisition records.
• Participate in training programmes and comply with relevant banking policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• A minimum of an HND or bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised institution.
• Recent graduation or limited work experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and customer-service skills.
• Ability to build positive customer relationships and work towards assigned targets.
• Self-motivation, initiative and willingness to carry out field-based work.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to accept placement in any of the stated work locations.
