Supply Chain Finance Business Partner at an Undisclosed Company via Robert Walters – Lagos

A publicly listed group is seeking a Supply Chain Finance Business Partner in Lagos through Robert Walters. The position provides financial guidance to manufacturing and operations teams, with particular attention to cost control and performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with production and operations managers on financial analysis, reporting and commercial decisions.
• Oversee factory and product costing, assess budget-to-actual variances and review inventory-related financial indicators.
• Support manufacturing budgets, forecasts and other financial plans, identifying opportunities to control spending and improve profitability.
• Maintain accurate operational reporting, effective financial controls and management information for the Head of Supply Chain Finance.
• Work with operational teams to improve productivity, reporting processes and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a closely related discipline.
• At least five years of finance experience, preferably involving FMCG or manufacturing operations.
• Sound experience in cost accounting, product costing, factory accounting and production variance analysis.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or comparable accounting qualification is preferred.
