Position title: Technical Director (Maintenance & Production). Location: Ogun State, Oyo State.About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and execution of activities alongside effective leadership of teams on site and the production shop floor.
- Managing, maintaining, and establishing maintenance procedures for production lines in a food manufacturing environment to ensure production meets or performs better than budget.
- Plan and draw up a production schedule
- Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate
- Develop associate and supervisor skills by conducting training meetings; one on one development sessions; outside technical skills training; and establishing and monitoring performance reviews for supervisors.
- Responsible for maintaining Food Safety and Quality Systems as assigned.
- Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
- Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
- Collate and analyses data, putting together production reports for both factory managers and customers
Experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in production or any other related degree
- 5+ years’ experience in a production environment preferably in food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrable experience in problem solving methodologies/tools.
- Specific expertise in maintenance, quality, health and safety.
