Business Contracting Limited is recruiting a Truck Driver in Lagos to transport construction materials, supplies and equipment between project locations while maintaining vehicle safety and delivery records.
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies to designated project sites.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate safe driving habits, reliability, and good knowledge of road safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies to designated locations.
- Ensure timely deliveries and properly secure loads during transportation.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report faults or maintenance needs.
- Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle condition while maintaining accurate trip records.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ truck driving experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Valid driver’s licence with the appropriate vehicle classification and good knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge, good communication skills, discipline, and reliability.
