Video Editor and Animator at ATAfrica – Nigeria (Hybrid)
ATAfrica is recruiting a Video Editor and Animator for a hybrid position in Nigeria. The role creates video and animation content in collaboration with the marketing and design teams.
Responsibilities
- Plan and produce video concepts with marketing and design colleagues.
- Edit footage into coherent videos and create engaging 2D or 3D animation.
- Use visual effects, music and voice-overs where appropriate in post-production.
- Adapt finished content for different channels while maintaining brand guidelines.
- Work with other teams on briefs, deadlines and feedback; maintain organised digital media archives.
- Follow relevant developments in video production and animation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of professional video-editing and animation experience.
- Proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or similar editing tools.
- Strong animation capability using Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D or comparable software.
- Visual storytelling, design judgement and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup.
- A portfolio showing relevant creative work.
