Accountant at Neveah Limited – Ogun State

Neveah Limited is recruiting a full-time Accountant in Ogun State to maintain financial controls, accounting records, budgeting support and financial analysis for its manufacturing and export activities.

Financial accounting and controls

• Maintain accurate general ledger, subsidiary ledgers and supporting schedules.
• Introduce and follow controls that reduce waste, fraud, inefficiency and financial risk.
• Oversee cash transaction controls and timely follow-up on receivables and payables.
• Implement internal and external audit recommendations and report outcomes.
• Support budget and forecasting cycles through department data gathering and financial analysis.
• Provide finance advice to management and support asset, credit and budgetary controls.

Analysis and business support

• Analyse trends, investment opportunities and financial data for management decisions.
• Identify ways to improve financial performance and reduce costs.
• Prepare financial reports, recommendations and forecasts.
• Contribute to long-term financial decisions, process improvements and policy development.
• Maintain current knowledge of accounting, taxation, corporate finance and relevant financial developments.

Qualifications

• BSc in Finance, Economics or a related area.
• Qualified chartered accountant with three to five years in a similar manufacturing or export industry role.
• ICAN or ACCA professional membership is required.
• Experience as a finance analyst or closely related financial position.
• Proficiency in Excel, spreadsheets, databases, modern accounting applications and statistical analysis tools.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, tax requirements, forecasts and corporate financial analysis.
• Strong presentation, documentation, multitasking and accuracy.
