Accountant / HR Officer at an Undisclosed Company via Odixcity – Port Harcourt

An employer represented by Odixcity Consulting is recruiting a full-time, on-site Accountant / HR Officer in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The role combines financial recordkeeping, reporting, payroll support and human resources administration.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial records, process transactions and prepare periodic accounting reports.
• Handle invoices, payment vouchers, expenses, account reconciliations and payroll support.
• Maintain staff files, attendance records, leave schedules and confidential personnel documents.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and staff relations.
• Assist with salary administration, statutory records and payroll preparation.
• Help monitor compliance with company policies, finance procedures and relevant regulations.
• Prepare management reports and organise financial and HR documentation.

Qualifications and requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Two to three years’ relevant experience across accounting and HR administration.
• An accounting or HR professional qualification is an advantage.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software and HR records.
• Numerical accuracy, organisation, analysis, confidentiality, communication and multitasking.
• Female candidates are specified by the hiring employer.
• Must reside in Port Harcourt or be willing to work there on site.

Working conditions and benefits

• Monthly salary: ₦250,000.
