Accounts Receivable Officer at Reliable Plastic – Onitsha, Anambra

Reliable Plastic is recruiting an Accounts Receivable Officer in Onitsha, Anambra State, to oversee billing, collections, account reconciliation and credit management. The full-time position supports timely receipts, sound cash flow and customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate invoices and credit notes on time.
• Follow up outstanding customer balances, support debt recovery and reduce overdue accounts.
• Reconcile daily bank activity and match incoming payments against sales ledgers, investigating differences.
• Assess new customers’ creditworthiness and recommend suitable credit limits.
• Compile receivables ageing reports, cash-flow forecasts and management summaries.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related subject.
• Two to five years of practical accounts receivable or financial operations experience.
• Understanding of invoicing, debt collection, credit control and dispute resolution.
• Experience with accounting packages such as QuickBooks, Sage or Tally, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, negotiation and communication skills.
• Residence in Anambra State or nearby, or willingness to relocate immediately.
• Progress towards ICAN or ANAN or another professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
