Ambulance / Hospital Driver at Solid Rock Hospital – Ojodu Berger

Solid Rock Hospital is recruiting a full-time Ambulance Driver / Hospital Driver in Ojodu Berger, Lagos. The driver will transport patients and support other official hospital transport assignments, with attention to safety, vehicle readiness and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely between the hospital, referral centres and other authorised destinations.
• Drive hospital vehicles for official assignments as instructed.
• Assist healthcare workers with safe patient loading and unloading.
• Keep vehicles clean, roadworthy and ready for use.
• Perform routine safety checks and report mechanical problems promptly.
• Maintain clear records of journeys, mileage and fuel use.
• Comply with road traffic rules, hospital policies and patient confidentiality.
• Respond promptly to approved transportation needs, including emergencies.

Requirements

• At least an SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• A valid Nigerian driver’s licence appropriate to the assigned vehicle.
• At least three years’ driving experience.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and relevant road safety rules.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and first aid knowledge.
• Punctuality, reliability, courtesy, discipline and safety awareness.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends or public holidays when needed.
• Previous ambulance or hospital driving experience is an advantage.
