Area Phone Business Manager at Sun King – Sapele, Delta State

Sun King is recruiting an Area Phone Business Manager in Sapele, Delta State, to grow its pay-as-you-go phone business through a network of commission-based sales agents. The role combines field sales leadership, customer repayment quality, inventory control and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard new phone-selling agents and support existing Sun King agents as they expand into phone sales; complete Litmos Phase 1 certification within two weeks.
• Run fortnightly coaching meetings and refresher sessions, and maintain branding, sales and conduct standards.
• Deliver monthly device-sales targets, improve productivity per active selling agent and take action on low-performing territories or agents.
• Review sales portfolios weekly, coordinate field marketing activities and deploy approved incentives.
• Coach agents in customer onboarding and repayment follow-up; monitor first-payment default and portfolio-at-risk over 30 days (PAR30) with Credit and Operations.
• Visit, coach and retain agents through regular field contact, recognition and re-engagement of inactive sellers.
• Reconcile agent stock, audit inventory movements, maintain accurate records and submit reports on time.
• Uphold Sun King’s compliance policies, documentation standards and zero-tolerance approach to unethical practice.

Requirements

• HND or B.Sc in a business-related discipline and at least two years of practical field-sales experience.
• Experience in PayGo, device financing or agent networks; solar-sector exposure is an advantage.
• Detailed knowledge of the designated territory, including urban and rural trading routes.
• Strong sales execution, relationship-building, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Digital proficiency with CRM tools, Looker and stock-management systems.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the area.
