An oil exploration and production company is recruiting an Assistant Driller (Operating) to support offshore drilling operations in Nigeria. The role sits within the drilling department and supports safe, efficient execution of the well programme.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Driller in operating drilling and mud-circulation equipment as directed under the well programme.
- Carry out assigned activities in line with company policies and operating procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant offshore drilling experience in the position.
- Valid industry certifications applicable to the role.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork and operational excellence, including active promotion of Shelf Drilling Core Values.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural offshore environment.
- A valid passport and willingness to travel.
