Cold Room Storekeeper at Viramsun Nigeria Limited – Ijesha, Lagos
Viramsun Nigeria Limited is recruiting a full-time Cold Room Storekeeper in Ijesha, Lagos, to maintain reliable inventory controls and proper temperature-controlled storage.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming products against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Organise, label and store goods at suitable temperatures while keeping accurate stock records.
- Monitor shortages, damage, inventory discrepancies and cold room temperature readings.
- Apply appropriate FIFO or FEFO rotation methods and report refrigeration equipment faults promptly.
- Carry out stock counts, reconcile records and prepare movement reports.
- Keep storage areas hygienic, orderly and safe while coordinating with procurement and related teams.
Requirements
- OND, HND or equivalent qualification in purchasing, business, accounting or a related field.
- Three to five years’ experience in inventory, storekeeping or warehouse operations, preferably in temperature-controlled storage.
- Knowledge of stock reconciliation, inventory documentation, FIFO/FEFO principles and basic cold room temperature monitoring.
- Proficiency with Excel and inventory systems and strong numeracy, integrity and attention to detail.
