Coldroom Officer at Pullus Africa – Kaduna
Pullus Africa is recruiting a full-time Coldroom Officer in Kaduna to manage safe storage and stock records for frozen and perishable products.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store and arrange perishable goods in the cold-room facility.
- Monitor and document storage temperatures and report irregular readings promptly.
- Rotate stock on a first-in, first-out basis and carry out regular stock counts.
- Check products for quality, damage and spoilage and report discrepancies.
- Support loading and offloading while protecting product condition.
- Maintain hygiene, food safety and workplace safety standards.
- Report equipment faults and work with inventory, logistics and operations colleagues.
Requirements
- NCE or OND in Food Science, Agriculture, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- One to two years of experience in cold-room, warehouse or inventory operations.
- Understanding of cold-chain storage, food safety and stock management.
- Physical fitness to work in cold environments and familiarity with cold-room equipment.
- Applicants must reside in Kaduna.
