Data Analyst at a Digital-first Restaurant via Chrivon Tech – Lekki Phase 1, Lagos or Abuja, FCT

A cashless, digital-first restaurant business with locations in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, and Abuja, FCT is recruiting a Data Analyst to analyse sales, kitchen operations, dispatch, inventory and loyalty data for operational decisions.

About the Role

We are a 100% cashless, digital-first establishment operating two branches in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, and one in Abuja, FCT.

We generate massive amounts of data every single day—from POS transactions and Kitchen Display System (KDS) ticket times, to Live Dispatch maps, ERP inventory levels, and app loyalty metrics.

We are looking for a Data Analyst to turn this raw data into actionable insights.

You won’t just build spreadsheets; you will be the CEO’s and Head of Operations’ eyes and ears, helping us optimize delivery routes, reduce food waste, track rider completion rates, and maximize profitability.

What You’ll Do

• Dashboard & BI Management: Build, maintain, and automate interactive dashboards (Power BI/Tableau/Looker Studio) to track daily sales, branch performance, and operational KPIs.
• Operations Analytics: Analyze order volumes, KDS ticket times, and peak-hour data to help the Digital Operational Supervisor optimize staffing and kitchen workflows.
• Logistics & Rider Analytics: Analyze delivery data (completion rates, average delivery times, fuel costs) to help the Delivery Coordinator optimize routing and rider performance bonuses.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Work with the ERP and Inventory teams to track stock variances, forecast demand, and identify cost-saving opportunities to reduce waste.
• Customer & Loyalty Insights: Analyze app usage, customer ordering patterns, and loyalty program data to identify trends and improve customer retention.
• Reporting: Deliver weekly and monthly management reports with clear data visualizations and written insights to non-technical stakeholders.

What We Need

Essential

• Education: HND / BSc in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and SQL. Proficiency in a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio).
• Data Integration: Experience connecting data from multiple sources (POS systems, ERPs, Google Maps APIs).
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable business insights.
• Integrity: High level of confidentiality and accuracy in handling financial and operational data.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience in QSR, hospitality, e-commerce, or logistics data analysis.
• Basic knowledge of Python or R for advanced statistical analysis.
• Experience with Restaurant/POS Analytics software (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Toast).
