An undisclosed oil exploration and production company is recruiting a full-time Deck Pusher for its offshore drilling operations in Nigeria. The position calls for practical offshore experience, valid industry certification and reliable teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Supervise deck crews carrying out routine tasks on the drilling installation.
- Coordinate crane lifts and safe materials handling.
- Oversee deck housekeeping and safe working practices.
- Promote the safety and operational values required for the drilling operation.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a roustabout or deck supervisor.
- Knowledge of rigging, lifting and safe material-handling operations.
- Experience working in offshore drilling operations relevant to the position.
- Valid certifications appropriate to the duties of the position.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork and operational excellence.
- Ability to work in a multicultural, fast-paced offshore environment.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel.
