Energy Officer at Ignite Energy Access – Mokwa

Ignite Energy Access is recruiting Energy Officers in Mokwa and neighbouring Niger State communities to introduce households and businesses to solar energy products and support customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Find new customers through field marketing, door-to-door visits and community engagement.
• Present and sell solar home systems and renewable energy products.
• Build relationships with residents, business owners and community leaders.
• Demonstrate products and explain the value of solar electricity.
• Generate and convert sales leads, achieving assigned commercial targets.
• Track customer payments and support timely collections.
• Provide initial customer assistance, escalate technical concerns and submit regular field reports.
• Identify new communities and opportunities for business expansion.

Requirements

• At least OND or NCE; HND or bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
• Previous field sales, marketing, customer acquisition or financial-services experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation, personal integrity and target orientation.
• Willingness to work in the field and travel through Mokwa and nearby communities.
• Basic smartphone and reporting ability; familiarity with Mokwa is an advantage.
