Sales Executive (Seafood/FMCG) at Ascentech Services Limited – Ikeja, Lagos

Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting a full-time Sales Executive in Ikeja, Lagos, to grow revenue, expand wholesale customer networks and develop market coverage in marine products, seafood, frozen fish, FMCG and food distribution. The role involves developing accounts, managing distributors and delivering sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales opportunities, strengthen wholesale customer networks and support revenue growth in assigned markets.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with distributors, wholesale accounts and other commercial customers.
• Identify new markets and customers while working towards assigned sales targets.
• Support market development and customer retention through responsive relationship management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Four to ten years’ relevant sales experience, preferably in food, FMCG, seafood, frozen fish or marine products.
• Experience in marine products, frozen fish or seafood is strongly preferred; candidates with substantial FMCG or food distribution experience may also be considered.
• Proven wholesale selling, distributor management and market development experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, customer relationship management and interpersonal skills.
• Mandatory proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Good analytical, numerical, reporting and independent working skills.
• Ability to meet targets under pressure and willingness to travel extensively across assigned territories.
• Experience with ERP systems or sales management software is an advantage.
• An MBA in Finance or Marketing, a degree in Accountancy or fisheries-sector experience is an added advantage.
