Engineering – Wellwork Supervisor III at Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited – Port Harcourt

Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is recruiting an Engineering – Wellwork Supervisor III in Port Harcourt to coordinate safe, efficient wellwork and intervention activities.

Main responsibilities

• Support engineers and field representatives with wellwork planning, readiness assessments and operational execution.
• Lead the supervision of service partners and coordinate site personnel, equipment, logistics and work programmes.
• Communicate and enforce safety, security, health, environmental and well-integrity procedures.
• Monitor operations, identify emerging problems, investigate nonroutine failures and support appropriate emergency responses.
• Review proposed work procedures for completeness and feasibility, applying management-of-change processes where necessary.
• Verify supplier equipment, inspection records, rig-up arrangements, function tests and BOP pressure tests against approved standards.
• Oversee worksite surveillance, provide accurate operational reports and maintain detailed handover notes.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, maintenance, project teams and the Wellwork Coordinator on operating risks and simultaneous operations.
• Capture lessons learned, coach junior supervisors, production operators and engineers, and deliver training when required.
• Provide relief coverage for the Wells Operations Superintendent where needed.

Requirements

• At least ten years of oil-and-gas industry experience, including supervision of wellwork, workovers, rigless intervention or hydraulic workover operations.
• Prior employment with an operator or a slickline, wireline or coiled-tubing service provider.
• Current well-control certification.
