Experienced Hotel Cook at Teestone Hotels & Apartments – Ojodu Berger, Lagos
Teestone Hotels & Apartments is recruiting an experienced full-time Hotel Cook in Ojodu Berger, Lagos, to prepare meals for guests and support safe, efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dishes in accordance with hotel recipes and menus, maintaining quality, freshness and presentation.
- Keep kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils clean and comply with food safety and sanitation rules.
- Track food stocks, assist with receiving and rotation, and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Manage portions and minimise wastage while coordinating meal preparation with kitchen colleagues.
- Support menu preparation and catering for special occasions when required.
Requirements
- Minimum SSCE and two to three years’ experience in a kitchen role.
- Practical cooking experience in a hotel, restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, hygiene and sanitation.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, communication and teamwork; able to work under pressure.
- Availability for shifts, weekends and public holidays; culinary certification or training is an advantage.
