Experienced Hotel Cook at Hotel Capitol – Berger, Lagos

Hotel Capitol is recruiting an Experienced Hotel Cook in Berger, Lagos, to prepare quality meals for hotel guests and support safe, efficient kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and room-service meals in line with menus, recipes and hotel standards.
• Assist with menu planning, meal presentation and consistent food quality.
• Prepare meals promptly and work with the kitchen team to meet guest expectations.
• Keep kitchens, cooking equipment, utensils and storage areas clean and organised.
• Follow safe food handling, sanitation and health procedures.
• Monitor ingredient stocks, report shortages and help receive and store deliveries.
• Control wastage and use ingredients efficiently.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and proven experience cooking in a hotel environment.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and food preparation procedures.
• Understanding of hygiene, food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Residence around Ogba, Ojodu Berger, Agege, Ojota, Ketu or Akute for convenient commuting.
