Experienced Hotel Waiter / Waitress at Teestone Hotels & Apartments – Ojodu Berger

Teestone Hotels & Apartments is recruiting an experienced Hotel Waiter / Waitress for its food and beverage team in Ojodu Berger, Lagos. The role involves attentive table service, guest care and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, assist with seating and explain food and beverage menu options.
• Take accurate orders, coordinate promptly with the kitchen and serve meals and drinks professionally.
• Attend to guests throughout their meals, resolve service concerns and escalate complaints when necessary.
• Prepare and clear tables, maintain dining areas, service stations and equipment, and support banquet and event service.
• Prepare bills, receive payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Observe food safety, hygiene and hotel service standards while working closely with restaurant and kitchen colleagues.
• Report maintenance issues, guest incidents and service concerns to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE, OND or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant or related hospitality setting is an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service practices and an ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
• Professional appearance, good grooming and readiness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
