Position Title: Farm Manager.

Job Station: Abuja.

INTRODUCTION :-

Farm Manager job opportunity is available at Nuach Consulting for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-

An experienced farm manager is needed to manage a crop and livestock farm in Kubwa, Abuja. The main duties include but are not limited to:

Technical:

• Maintain and monitor the quality of yield
• Monitor animal health and welfare, including liaising with vets
• Maintain knowledge of pests and diseases and an understanding of how they spread and how to treat them
• Apply health and safety standards across the farm
• Arrange the maintenance and repair of farm buildings, machinery and equipment
• Handle the marketing and sale of farm produce
• Regularly inspect crops, livestock, and also perform tests on soil and water.

Management:

• Ensure all staff adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Assist with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
• Plan finances and production to maintain farm progress against budget parameters
• Keep records of livestock and crops and financial records
• Analyse existing operations, crops and livestock and recommending improvements

REMUNERATION :-

• Accommodation will be provided on the farm

Salary:

• N80,000 – N120,000 monthly
