Finance Officer at Hearty Helping Hand Initiative – Borno
Hearty Helping Hand Initiative (3HI) is recruiting a Finance Officer in Borno State. The post reports to the National Coordinator and supports accurate accounting, budget monitoring, donor compliance and project financial controls.
Responsibilities
- Process approved payments, prepare payment vouchers and maintain supporting records.
- Track project spending against budgets and provide accurate expenditure information.
- Complete bank and cash reconciliations and assist with financial reporting.
- Maintain compliance with donor conditions, organisational financial policies and audit requirements.
- Provide financial documents and other assistance during internal and external audits.
- Follow safeguarding and professional conduct policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant experience.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Professional accounting certification is an advantage.
