Food & Beverage Manager at Mulligan Hotel – Yaba, Lagos

Mulligan Hotel is hiring a Food & Beverage Manager in Yaba, Lagos, to maintain service standards and oversee restaurant, bar, room-service and banqueting operations.

Duties

• Ensure meals, snacks, beverages and functions are served promptly to agreed standards.
• Protect profit margins through cost controls, sales analysis, menu costing, docket checks and cash reconciliation.
• Keep restaurant, bar and banquet spaces clean, stocked and presentable.
• Supervise waiting and bar staff, maintaining appropriate dress, training and courteous guest service.
• Coordinate efficient room service and oversee the presentation and performance of room-service teams.
• Manage banqueting facilities, including cleanliness of event rooms and cloakrooms.
• Act as Duty Manager when required and undertake other assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications and skills

• A BSc or HND in Hotel Management, Food Service Management or a related field.
• At least four years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Integrity, leadership and strong interpersonal communication.
• Computer literacy and working knowledge of basic accounting.
• Ability to multitask and coordinate across hotel departments.
