Regional Service Manager at SIMS Nigeria Limited – Abuja (FCT) and Aba Road, Rivers
SIMS Nigeria Limited is recruiting Regional Service Managers for Abuja and Aba Road, Rivers State. The role oversees regional after-sales service delivery, technical teams, warranties, repairs and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Direct service-centre operations across assigned regions, maintaining repair timelines and service quality.
- Lead Service Centre Managers, Supervisors and technical personnel through coaching and performance reviews.
- Monitor turnaround time, first-time fix rates, customer feedback, repair standards and outstanding cases.
- Ensure repairs, installation and maintenance comply with manufacturer specifications and safety requirements.
- Coordinate escalated complaints, warranty checks, claims and service documentation.
- Work with warehouse and spare-parts teams to reduce equipment-repair delays.
- Develop regional service plans, manage operating costs and improve processes.
- Identify technical training needs and organise team development.
- Prepare reports on service volumes, warranties, spare-parts consumption, costs and team performance.
- Partner with sales, logistics and customer-service units to resolve operational issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another related technical discipline.
- At least seven years of after-sales service experience, ideally in home appliances or consumer electronics.
- Three to four years of managerial or regional supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines and similar appliances.
- Proven ability to manage multiple centres, warranty administration, spare parts and repair quality.
- Leadership, analytical, reporting and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and ERP or service-management tools.
- Readiness to travel regularly across assigned regions.
