Job Description

• Our client, an architectural construction and interior outfit with the sole aim of providing highly specialized, value-added, integrated services for all major business market both private and public requires the service of a Creative Graphics Artist to join its team of experts who deliver exceptional services.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting the business design needs and developing a concept to suit the design/content.
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and designs
• Liaising with necessary team to discuss the design requirements.
• Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD) whilst updating with necessary skills such as QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash
• Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size/style and related concepts
• Obtaining approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
• Preparing final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
• Estimating the time required to complete the job and ensuring that the specified deadlines are met.
• Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research
• Presenting finalised design and concepts and making any amendment if necessary
• Working on layouts and artworking pages ready for print
• Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists.
• Perform other related duties as required

Experience and qualifications

• Bsc or Masters in Graphic Design, Fine Art or any related field
• With 3 – 5 years working experience in creative designs, Knowledge of CAD, highly creative.
• Reside around Mainland environs.
• Additional / Higher qualification can be an added advantage.

• Ability to work with tight deadlines and meet target
• Proficient in Microsoft packages: Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
• Working knowledge of design software and technologies – Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
• High level of creativity, imagination and vision
• Organisational, project management and planning skills
• Highly committed to work
• An eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
