A school in Lekki that combines Nigerian and Cambridge curricula is recruiting a Higher Grade Class Teacher through Rainbow Educational Service Limited.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver purposeful lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of assigned pupils.
• Use a range of teaching resources and approaches to engage learners, including those who require additional learning support.
• Mark pupils’ work, provide feedback, assess achievement and maintain records of individual progress.
• Explore new subject content and teaching methods and participate in collaborative lesson observations.
• Prepare reports and internal assessment grades and work with teachers and parents to support learning.

Requirements

• Degree in an education-related discipline.
• At least three years of experience teaching young children in a classroom.
• Strong communication, classroom management, record-keeping and differentiated-teaching skills.
• Patience, adaptability, attention to detail and effective collaboration with parents and colleagues.
• CPR and first-aid certification is an advantage.
