HMO Officer at Emel Hospitals Limited – Lagos
Emel Hospitals Limited is recruiting a full-time HMO Officer in Lagos to coordinate health maintenance organisation relationships, patient coverage approvals and insurance claims.
Responsibilities
- Maintain professional communication and relationships with health maintenance organisations.
- Process HMO authorisations, approvals and claims.
- Verify patient membership, eligibility and healthcare coverage before services are provided.
- Prepare accurate claims documentation and submit it on time.
- Follow up outstanding or rejected claims and investigate payment discrepancies.
- Coordinate with clinical, billing and accounts teams to support smooth service delivery.
- Respond professionally to enquiries and concerns from HMO patients.
- Maintain accurate HMO transaction records and follow hospital policies and insurer procedures.
