Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for

• Overseeing the hotel’s daily operations and ensuring effective coordination across all departments.
• Supervising, motivating, and managing staff to achieve excellent service delivery.
• Maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction, hospitality, and customer relations.
• Monitoring revenue, expenditure, budgets, and overall hotel profitability.
• Managing room occupancy, reservations, and front office operations.
• Ensuring proper inventory control, purchasing procedures, and cost management.
• Implementing hotel policies, operational procedures, and disciplinary standards.
• Supervising housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and other hotel departments.
• Preparing operational reports and providing regular updates to management.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and achieving management targets.
• Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants must

• Have substantial experience in hotel management, preferably in a senior managerial position.
• Be between 45 and 50 years of age.
• Possess strong leadership, administrative, and organisational skills.
• Have sound knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Be honest, disciplined, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.
• Be committed to maintaining high operational standards and achieving business targets.
• Be willing to reside in Yola, Adamawa State, for the duration of the appointment.

Remuneration

Salary: N350,000 / month.
