HSE Engineer (Hull & Facilities – FLNG) via Talent Recruitment 360 – Lagos

An undisclosed employer is recruiting a contract HSE Engineer for Hull and Facilities (FLNG) work in Lagos through Talent Recruitment 360. The role covers project hazard studies, compliance, safety reviews and incident follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Review engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, environmental assessments, and other project risk studies.
• Identify design hazards and recommend appropriate risk-reduction measures.
• Monitor contractor compliance with HSE plans, regulations, and client requirements.
• Support environmental management, pollution prevention, and waste management initiatives.
• Investigate incidents and near misses and track corrective actions.
• Prepare HSE reports and monitor relevant performance indicators.
• Support construction, commissioning, permit-to-work, and SIMOPS safety reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in offshore facilities, LNG/FLNG, FPSO, or major Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience in engineering HSE, construction safety, or project risk management.
• Knowledge of HSE management systems, hazard identification, risk assessment, and process safety principles.
• Relevant NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
• Strong auditing, incident investigation, communication, and reporting skills.

Key Competencies:

• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in offshore facilities, LNG/FLNG, FPSO, or major Oil & Gas projects
