Internal Auditor at Garki Hospital Abuja – Abuja

Garki Hospital Abuja is hiring an Internal Auditor to evaluate internal controls, financial risks and compliance and report findings to management and the Board.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform and report internal audit work across hospital departments.
• Assess risk management, financial records, transactions and operating procedures for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify weak controls, inefficiencies and financial risks and recommend appropriate improvements.
• Follow up on agreed audit recommendations and management corrective actions.
• Prepare timely, independent reports for management and the Board and liaise with external auditors or regulators as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in accounting, banking and finance, economics or a related discipline.
• Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory, with at least four years’ relevant post-qualification experience involving internal audit.
• Working knowledge of risk-based internal auditing, financial reporting and control standards.
• Strong independent judgement, professional integrity, investigative and report-writing skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP tools; an MBA or master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
