Internal Control Officer at Casalavoro Limited – Abuja
Casalavoro Limited is recruiting an Internal Control Officer in Abuja to strengthen financial monitoring, internal controls, compliance and risk management for its real estate activities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with internal-control policies and procedures.
- Review property sales, client payments, refunds, expenses and supplier transactions.
- Conduct planned and surprise checks across departments and property sites.
- Identify fraud exposures, irregularities and control weaknesses and recommend improvements.
- Review documentation and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare internal-control reports and track agreed actions.
- Coordinate with finance, sales, legal and project teams.
Remuneration
Competitive and negotiable, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related subject.
- Three to five years’ experience in internal control, internal audit, compliance or risk.
- Experience in real estate or construction is an advantage.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with accounting/ERP or CRM systems.
- ICAN, ACCA, CIA or CISA professional certification is an advantage.
- Strong confidentiality, integrity, communication and attention to detail.
