Manager – ESG Intelligence, Assessment & Reporting at Independent Project Monitoring Company Limited (IPMC) – Lagos

Independent Project Monitoring Company Limited is recruiting a Manager for ESG Intelligence, Assessment and Reporting in Lagos to lead ESG analysis, benchmarking, data evaluation and sustainability reports for clients.

Role Objective

• Lead ESG research, performance assessment, sustainability data analysis, benchmarking and reporting assignments for corporate and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ESG assessment methodologies, indicators and sector-specific evaluation criteria.
• Lead the collection, analysis and validation of environmental, social and governance performance information.
• Conduct corporate ESG assessments, benchmarking and sustainability readiness reviews.
• Evaluate ESG risks, governance structures, climate-related disclosures and sustainability performance.
• Prepare sustainability performance reports, ESG scorecards and executive intelligence reports.
• Support corporate sustainability disclosure readiness under relevant reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with technology and data specialists to develop digital ESG intelligence products and monitoring systems.
• Maintain methodological consistency, evidence traceability and clear separation between assessment and independent quality review.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Sustainability, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Five to eight years of relevant experience in ESG analysis, sustainability reporting, ESG research, ratings or non-financial performance assessment, with practical knowledge of IFRS S1/S2, GRI Standards, the GHG Protocol and other relevant disclosure frameworks.
• Strong quantitative analysis, research, data interpretation and professional report-writing capabilities.
