Microbiologist at Ascentech Services Limited – Ojo

Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting a Microbiologist in Afromedia, Ojo, Lagos, to test raw materials, water, packaging and finished products and support laboratory quality control.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological tests on water, raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Perform environmental monitoring and swab tests on production equipment and surfaces.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, NAFDAC, SON, and relevant ISO standards.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and report test results.
• Monitor sanitation and hygiene in production areas.
• Identify deviations and support investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist in batch release, rejection, or quarantine based on test results.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Microbiology.
• 0–1 year of experience in industrial or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of microbiological testing and quality control.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and good record-keeping abilities.
• Age Range: 25–40 years.
