Store Manager – Issuing at Dangote Group – Ibese, Ogun

Dangote Group is recruiting a Store Manager – Issuing at its Ibese Plant in Ogun State. The role oversees the controlled release of materials to production, maintenance and site projects, with a focus on accuracy, availability and loss prevention.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee materials issuing against authorised requisitions, job cards and work orders, resolving discrepancies before release.
• Coordinate accurate picking, kitting and staging of stock while following FIFO or FEFO controls where applicable.
• Record all materials issued through ERP/WMS systems and maintain complete Material Issue Notes and requisition records.
• Apply appropriate approvals and controls to critical spares and high-value items.
• Work with maintenance and planning teams to prioritise urgent breakdown-related requests.
• Lead the issuing team through rostering, training, coaching and performance reviews.
• Reconcile records at issuing points and satellite stores, investigate variances and maintain stock-security controls.
• Review consumption patterns and recommend adjustments to reorder and critical stock levels.

Performance measures

• Timeliness and accuracy of material issues.
• Incidence of unauthorised issues.
• Stockout levels for critical spares.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years’ stores or materials-issuing experience in heavy industry; cement or major manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Practical experience with ERP stores modules, parts identification and material-issuing workflows.
• Strong numerical accuracy, records management, process discipline and accountability.
• Ability to manage urgent demands and support internal production and maintenance teams.
