Disbursement Officer (Rider) at Ascentech Services Limited – Ikeja, Lagos

Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting a Disbursement Officer (Rider) in Ikeja, Lagos, for vehicle-readiness checks, disbursement processing, documentation and coordinated customer handovers.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle inspections, engine and chassis numbers and fitted tracking equipment before release.
• Check approval records, customer documents, registration, insurance and applicable KYC/AML controls.
• Validate disbursement instructions and beneficiary details, update the Loan Origination System and maintain auditable records.
• Arrange vehicle transfers between facilities, dealerships and delivery points, and explain documentation and basic after-sales arrangements during handover.
• Reconcile transactions, investigate discrepancies, hold questionable releases and escalate risks.
• Track operational performance and recommend improvements to reduce delays and control gaps.

Requirements

• Two to four years’ experience in operations, logistics, fleet management or vehicle finance; dealership experience is beneficial.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field is an advantage.
• Accuracy, discretion, sound risk judgement, coordination and customer-service skills.
• Understanding of approved disbursement processes, reconciliation and relevant compliance controls.

Operating controls

• Transactions must have required approvals and complete records; suspected fraud, mismatches and policy exceptions must be escalated.
• Confidential customer, banking and vehicle information must be protected.

Salary

₦200,000–₦220,000 per month.
