Nursing & Healthcare Instructor at Meridian Hospital – Port Harcourt
Meridian Hospital is recruiting a Nursing & Healthcare Instructor in Port Harcourt to deliver practical clinical instruction and support nursing education.
Responsibilities
- Teach and support clinical learning in nursing fundamentals, medical-surgical nursing, community health and basic emergency care.
- Apply professional clinical experience and teaching practice to nursing training, preceptorship and learner development.
- Maintain current professional nursing standards and demonstrate safe healthcare instruction.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife status with a current NMCN practising licence.
- At least five years’ post-qualification clinical experience, including two years in teaching, training or preceptorship.
- Previous experience as a Nursing Tutor, Clinical Instructor or Nurse Educator in a nursing school, teaching hospital or private-hospital training school.
- BNSc and BLS/ACLS Instructor, teaching methodology or health-education certification are added advantages.
