Pharmacy Technician at ASI Ukpo Hospitals – Cross River
ASI Ukpo Hospitals is recruiting a full-time Pharmacy Technician in Cross River State to assist pharmacists with medication dispensing, stock control and accurate pharmacy records.
Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist to dispense medicines accurately and safely.
- Label, package and store pharmaceutical products in line with handling requirements.
- Maintain medicine inventory and appropriate stock levels.
- Process prescriptions, keep patient medication records and support pharmacy service to patients and staff.
- Follow pharmaceutical safety rules and relevant regulatory procedures.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or certificate from a Pharmacy Technician course.
- Valid practice certification or professional licence where applicable.
- One to two years’ relevant practical experience is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail, accurate record keeping, organisation and patient communication.
- Knowledge of safe medication handling and pharmaceutical supplies.
